The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Orange County residents regarding the residency of 57-year-old Dale Storms, who has moved from Ann Street to First Street in Newburgh.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Storms as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Storms had deviate sexual intercourse, sexual contact and disseminated child pornography involving a minor older than 11 on Christmas Eve in 1996. Storms was convicted of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child in September 2004 and sentenced to 162 months in prison. He remains under the jurisdiction of the Newburgh City Police Department.
